Client: Urban Ministry Center

Role: Prepare Affordable Housing Program (AHP) application to submit to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, assist with subsidy layering review and the closing of all financing. Assist with AHP takedown process.

Financing: AHP, City of Charlotte Housing Trust Fund, North Carolina Housing Finance Agency Supportive Housing Development funds, charitable contributions

 

Rose Garden Townhomes

North Las Vegas, Nevada

2014 – current

Substantial rehabilitation of 115 family units

Client: Category III Development Corporation

Role: Provide project management services to assist with funding applications, coordination of closing and oversight of design and construction.

Financing: Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Bonds, HUD 221(d)(4)

 

Hitch Village Redevelopment Phase I

Savannah, Georgia

2014 – current

Redevelopment of a former public housing site with mixed income family housing

Client: Hunt Companies, Inc.

Role: Prepare a 9% LIHTC application and provide advisory services related to the Georgia tax credit program, as well as the development process in Savannah

Financing: State and Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Replacement Housing Factor Funds

 

Dove Street Apartments Phases I and II

Richmond, Virginia

2012 – 2014

Two phases of family housing totaling 128 units

Redevelopment of a former public housing site involving new construction

Client: Laurel Street Residential

Role: Act as owner’s representative during construction, coordinate third party consultants, coordinate with utility companies, assist with permitting, finish selections, review draws and change orders, inspect units and coordinate unit turnover with management.

Financing: Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Housing Authority funds

 

T.F. Williams Court Apartments

Savannah, Georgia

2011 – 2013

151 units of senior housing

Repairs of individual units including HVAC, windows, kitchens and baths

Client: Georgia Infirmary Non-Profit Housing Corporation, Inc.

Role: Conduct initial feasibility analysis, process financial restructuring and refinancing, coordinate relocation and oversee renovations.

Financing: HUD Section 202/223(f) Refinance

 

Maplewood Park Apartments

Union City, Georgia

2010 -2013

110 units of family housing

Rehabilitation of an existing tax credit property at the end of the initial compliance period

Client: First Atlantic Capital

Role: Act as owner’s representative during construction, coordinate third party consultants, assist with relocation activities, finish selections, review draws and change orders, inspect units and coordinated unit turnover with management.

Savannah Gardens Redevelopment

Savannah, Georgia

2009 – 2013

Master planned redevelopment of a former multi-family housing site involving new construction

Client: Mercy Housing

Role: Work with Master Developer and design team to determine size and structure of each multi-family phase, assist with creation of Redevelopment Plan, Enterprise Zone and Planned Unit Development zoning, prepare all financing applications, coordinate all design development and third party consultants, manage the closing process for each phase, act as owner’s representative and construction manager throughout the construction process, coordinate project closeout through conversion to permanent financing.

Strathmore Estates Relocation

Savannah, Georgia

2009 – 2012

Relocation activities under the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 and Section 104(d) of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 for approximately 100 households to allow for demolition and redevelopment

Client: CHSA Development, Inc.

Role: Coordinate relocation process including all required resident meetings and paperwork, coordinate moves, calculate relocation assistance and ensure compliance with all regulations.
